Another interesting shift today |
||
|
While carrying out enquiries, we came across a cannabis cultivation inside a property. It's always surprising to see the lengths people go to in order to set these up, with dedicated lighting, ventilation and growing equipment hidden away inside what appears to be an ordinary address.
Cannabis grows aren't just illegal. They can involve dangerous electrical modifications that increase the risk of fire, cause extensive damage to properties, leave landlords with costly repair bills, and are often linked to organised crime. In some cases, the profits generated can be used to fund other serious criminality, including terrorism.
A good result for the Coalville Team and a reminder that no two days are ever the same in this job.
And before anyone asks... no, it's not for sale, you can't win it, and it isn't for our Christmas party! ππΏπ
